From Humble Beginnings
Mr. Shivkumar Khemka, a stalwart in the salt industry since 1976, founded Chandan Salt Works Pvt. Ltd. in Bhavnagar, India, in 1982. Leveraging his extensive experience and industry network, he has transformed Chandan Salt Works into one of the leading salt manufacturers in the country. Our journey from a modest beginning to becoming a renowned name in the salt industry is a testament to our commitment and perseverance.

Our Growth
Under the leadership of Mr. Prasan Khemka, who joined the company as Director in 2003, Chandan Salt Works has excelled in both technical and commercial domains. With a B.Com degree and specialized training in Solar Salt Production Process and Quality Control from CSIR-Bhavnagar, Mr. Prasan Khemka ensures that our products meet the highest standards. Our brine, known for its high Calcium Chloride content, is trusted by various Chlor-Alkali industries for producing Caustic Soda and Soda Ash.
